Homemade Dog Food

We have a 3 year old Husky named Mac, and we started noticing that his regular dog food was making him sick. Our son, who prepared homemade meals for this 10-year old Australian Shepherd, gave us his recipe---and it's been a complete game changer.  

So I pass this recipe on to you--may it transform your dog's life as profoundly as it did Mac's!

Homemade Dog Food

2 lbs of ground turkey, cooked

2 cups of cooked rice

2 cups of peas and carrots (I use frozen)

2 scrambled eggs (Add separately)

DIRECTIONS

Boil 4 cups of water in a big pot, then add 2 cups of rice.  Cook until tender.  Brown and cook ground turkey until done.  Once the rice is ready, add the ground turkey and combine.  Add 2 cups of peas and carrots.  Stir together.  Spray a 9 x 13 aluminum pan and add the turkey/rice mixture and spread out.  We portion out the servings for 2 per day.   Scramble 2 eggs and add portion of prepared food to it to warm through.  Serve to your dog
